Recollections of Londinium.
My little sis has gone and moved to London. She landed yesterday on the initial 3-week “getting-to-know-you” period (during which, she hopefully finds a flat). As Frants and I followed some initial observations of hers this morning, it got us to chatting about our old neighborhood. As I tried to discover the name of our old supermarket, I used Google Street View — and ended...

Another fantastic "Always Sunny" exchange.
(When the gang is unable to sneak into the 2008 World Series.)
Dennis: Well, how the hell are you planning on getting in there, Mac?
Mac: Uh... you put me on the spot. First thing that comes to my head, scaling the façade. All right, I know I soured on that earlier, but I believe that is my mind telling me that I have it in me.
Dennis: Okay, I hate to tell you this, bro, but you do not have the core strength to scale the façade of Citizens Bank. You just don't.
Mac: What? I work out all the time!
Dennis: Yeah, but you only work out your glamour muscles, and you know it.
Mac: I work out my core.
Dennis: No, you do not work your core. You're totally arm-heavy. You're all bis and tris and everything else is just fat and ribs.
Mac: Bro, I can do way more push-ups than you, and that's like 16 different muscle groups, I think.
Dennis: That is beyond retarded, what you’re saying right now.
(They drop to the ground and start doing push-ups.)

It’s strange seeing Sheed in a C’s uniform — but I’ve got to admit, that fro (and a nice performance from him last night) goes a long way in helping me warm up to him.
I tell ya, there are some days that I am so freaking happy that we have DirecTV. Clear eyes. Full hearts. Can’t lose.
Great idea. Nice to see how it’s turning out so far. Not sure why none of us have tried to do a scene yet (but, I’m betting on the fact that we’re waiting for Empire).
Secrets!
You guys won’t believe what Frants told me this morning.
*looks around surreptitiously*
Click below and I’ll tell you.
…Apparently, Tumblr now lets us break up text posts, by inserting a “Read More” link.
Sweet.
(Which isn’t really much of a secret. I just posted this to try the new feature out…)
My first scene with Jeff Bridges we were supposed to be tripping on acid. We had...

Sometimes, after a very draining late-night game, you just need a little pick-me-up. This is your Friday pick-me-up. Nothing beats Funny Talking Animals.
It’s interesting. I feel like some people watch the postseason and say, ‘Let’s...

Songs The Red Sox Are About To Love.
Matty & I have been making Red Sox mixes for quite some time. So, when we continued to struggle with this year’s mix (as Matty says in his intro, “there are only so many songs that contain thinly veiled references to Tek’s thunderous thighs”), a fresh approach was needed. After five weeks of work, we now have twenty-two personal tributes to our favorite Sox players and...
The Clone Wars - Season Two →
I’m not ashamed to admit that I’m quite excited for the second season of Clone Wars, premiering tonight on the Cartoon Network. I started watching season one with little-to-no expectations (especially since I loved the Tartakovsky micro-series), and ended up totally hooked. For me, it’s captured what I loved about the first movies — adventure, excitement, characters, and...
Baseball Americana.
“King” Kelly, Boston Beaneaters, 1887
The Library of Congress is releasing a new publication about baseball, and so, they’ve put a collection of their ye olde baseball images up on Flickr. There are some fantastic shots (one of which, being this image of Babe Ruth knocked out on the ground), but my favorite has to be the one above: Michael “King” Kelly of the...
