That is what friendship means. Sharing the prejudice of experience.

Wow, reading this is pretty amazing. (Regardless of whether the iPad is the Next Big Thing or not…)

Woah.
True Story: We’re all eating lunch here in the office this afternoon, and The Boss poses a trivia question. “Where did JD Salinger get the name for Holden Caulfield in Catcher In The Rye?” Nobody knew the answer, and he revealed that Salinger was walking and saw a movie poster for “Dear Ruth” — starring William Holden and Joan Caulfield. Their names were on...

Pickmeup.
I’m walking to work on a somewhat cold, somewhat dreary Tuesday, about to cross Seventh Avenue. On the opposite corner, I spy a young kid (three-ish?) with his back to me, looking at his shadow and dancing madly like only little kids can. Shaking and twisting and watching his shadow do identical crazy things. A nice moment that put a needed smile upon my face, though the little man will...

Nikon recently had a festival where users had to submit videos capturing their day in 140 seconds or less (140 characters being the allowed limits of Twitter and Text Messages).
This one was the Judge’s Winner. Cute stuff.

Frightening that 13% still use IE6, to say nothing of any IE version.

The Guys Who Made SOCOM + 256-players at a time = Huge potential. That said, it’s going to have to get a good collection of people willing to communicate and good design to work as well as Modern Warfare. So, while there is promise, we’ll wait for the reviews.
In the meantime, however, we can continue to enjoy the hilarious stream of “Dear Playstation” PS3 commercials. ...

Meet The Beatles (Through Infographics).
If you’ve got some time on your hands, check out this fascinating collection of graphs regarding the Beatles musical career. I would love to see some of these in poster form. Interesting to see there are only two fully collaborative tracks between all four guys.

“Gailey sounds like the offensive version of Dick Jauron…”
I don’t know what Sullivan talking about — I found Jauron quite offensive. What a fantastic job you guys have done in “cleaning house”, Mr. Wilson. Top notch.
Christ. Ugh. Get bent.

NYC Time Lapse. Love how the streets are still alive, all through the night, right up through sunrise.
Kimmel on Leno: Awk. Ward. →
After dressing up like Leno the other night, Jimmy Kimmel decided to take it a step further, and mock Leno right to his face. Hilarious, completely cringe-inducing interview.

Archer.
Ever since I saw a sneak preview of the Pilot last fall, I’ve been itching for “Archer” to start airing on F/X. Well, tonight’s the night (and with a double-feature, no less!). It fits perfectly with the filthy-yet-funny ethos already established by Always Sunny and The League. Made by the creator of Sea Lab, it has the Adult Swim pedigree we’ve all come...

The Big Picture: Haiti. →
Harrowing photos from Haiti over the last 24 hours. As more are available, they will be adding them to the gallery.
Update: If you’re looking to donate, The Late Show has set up a site where every dollar given will be matched — all going to the World Food Programme, who already have people on the ground in Haiti.
