What did I learn from this article in New York?
1.) Four foot long worms and tiny “gribbles” are eating all the wood and concrete in the rivers. I expect the FDR drive to collapse into the water at any time.
2.) There are two gas pipes in the Hudson that reach all the way down into the Gulf of Mexico.
3.) Over 300 wrecks, an unknown number of vehicles, a train, a dinette table, and dead bodies are found all around the NYC rivers. Oh, and $26 million in Silver Bars are somewhere down there, too.
4.) I could never be an NYPD Diver.
Man, I love this freakin’ city, though.
