I’m not ashamed to admit that I’m quite excited for the second season of Clone Wars, premiering tonight on the Cartoon Network. I started watching season one with little-to-no expectations (especially since I loved the Tartakovsky micro-series), and ended up totally hooked. For me, it’s captured what I loved about the first movies — adventure, excitement, characters, and even humor (elements that were lacking from the prequels).
Combine that with great animation, voice work and an excellent score, and you’ve got a winning combination. Give it a chance, if you haven’t already. Plus, season two is all about bounty hunters. Who doesn’t love that?
