Watched the season premiere of “Friday Night Lights” last night.  Felt great to have Coach and Mrs. Coach back.  There were a number of new faces, but they stayed true to what’s made the show so good: Drama, laughs and a football game, complete with those moments throughout that make you feel… inspired, as corny as that may sound. You get upset when the episode is over, not because you need to know what happens next (although you do) — but, simply, because you want to spend more time with these characters you’ve come to love. I won’t spoil anything for those of you stuck waiting for NBC — but I will say that it’s nice to see Wallace again (damn, he’s grown up!).  I hope things work out better for him this time.
