Another whirlwind weekend passes us by. Had a really excellent time, starting with dinner at Pure Food and Wine on Friday (HIGHLY RECCOMENDED), and ending with a little “Dark Knight” Blu-Ray action on Sunday. Now it’s back to the grind, and things are busy busy busy at work. Alack and alas.
Rock Band continues to heat up exponentially. Hydro and I made it our mission to give Bobo a run for his money, as he towered over our band (“The Abbey Normals”) with his many millions of fans. So, The Abbey Normals hit the road, and we hit it hard. Touring non-stop to close out 2008, and continuing our worldwide travels in 2009, we’ve managed to aquire over sixteen million fans — about a million more than Bobo. It’s a nice little competition we’ve got going.
But, we know that Bobo won’t go down without a fight (fuel’d by girl-drink courage, most likely).
Perhaps — just perhaps — we can put aside our rivalry and join forces… at the SpaHa Semi-Formal.
I may even let Bobo use my mic stand.
