Song for the Moment
“F@$k You, It’s Over” by Glasvegas.
Here are the reasons why I picked this song for today (aside from it being great).
1.) I’ve been really enjoying this album since the wife brought it home for me a few weeks ago, when they were on the Late Show.
2.) They are from Scotland, and the singer does not get rid of his accent when he sings. I like that.
3.) It’s fun to sing. Provided you don’t mind cursing. Quite a bit.*
4.) It would make a great song to fit over a slow-motion montage for this evening’s BJ Penn/GSP fight, which I’m extremely pumped for.
5.) It’s got a simple, yet very effective message.
