Frants just got me sucked back into Call of Duty. He picked up CoD: World at War over the holidays, and over the past few weeks, has slyly hinted at it’s enjoyability. Was it as good as COD4? Maybe not. But it was close. And it had flamethrowers.
So, he brought it over on Super Bowl Sunday, where he, Matty and I proceeded to have a giggle fest as we played Co-Op all afternoon. Wicked fun. So, after we tried some of the old COD4 online last weekend, I decided to go for it, and pick up World at War.
Damn, I’m glad I did.
We jumped right into multiplayer last night. I don’t know what it is — whether everything is so new, with new maps and weapons and levels… or whether it’s because the setting is WWII, and there’s something enjoyable about playing as US/Japanese/Russian/Germans in “The Great War”.
Or, maybe I just enjoy shutting up that horribly annoying guy on the other team — by sicking my pack of attack dogs on him.
That might be it.
So, fellow PS3’ers, if you’re looking for some online first-person shooter action, SpaHa and Kluv32 are looking for some fellow [iM] clan members. Banzai!
