Take Me Home

Former Future

Song For The Moment

In case you’ve been living under some music-barren rock as of late, today marks a very important album release:  ”All The Things We Said”, by Former Future — the band featuring our very own Duck (@DuckMaillard).  In his own words:

“We’ve released some other small EPs before, but for all intents and purposes, this is our debut album.  We worked incredibly hard for over a year to get this done.  There’s a saying in music (but it applies to most things): when making an album, it can be two of these three things:  Quick, cheap, or good.  We went with cheap and good.  Thanks to our amazing producer and his string-pulling abilities, we were able to record this album almost free of charge at the home studio of Graham Nash (of Crosby, Stills and Nash).  In addition, it was mixed by Noah Passavoy (who most recently mixed “Moves Like Jagger” for Maroon 5).

If all goes well, you will be hearing songs from this album on TV and in movies over the coming months, as well as on the archaic medium of radio.  If you would like to support us on that journey, the easiest way is to buy the album for yourselves, and if you like it, share it with friends, family and coworkers.  Hopefully we’ll play some shows in your area as well, so you can actually see what we’ve been working on over the past few years.

As always, you can follow us on Facebook, Twitter (@theformerfuture) and on our website www.formerfuturemusic.com.  The album will be available on iTunes and Amazon at midnight on Oct. 14th, so please grab a copy if you can!”

Our very own Duck makes a Super Bowl appearance!  As Matty pointed out, nine 105.9 million people have now seen him (almost) naked.  To those of us who have known him for all these years — this comes as no surprise.
Update: Frants has the video, in case you missed it.

The return of Cyrus and Duck, y’all.  They’ve got a lot to say.
