El Beardo: 9/25/10 - 2/14/11
The second year of the full-on winter beard began almost five months ago, one day after my daughter was born. It had a good run — three-plus months of uncontrolled growth, with the last month spent (somewhat) neatly trimmed. But, with pitchers and catchers reporting to the Red Sox camp yesterday, it is time for The Beard’s deconstruction to begin. Normally I’d just go for the full removal — but, since The Girl has only really known me with a full face, I’ll take it apart over the next few days.
